Having received a whole-hearted introduction and endorsement from Grammy-Award-Winning hitmaker Eliot Kennedy at the launch of her new album Taste it is apparent that Philippa has the gained the attention of many key players in the world of music. With the Work In Progress UK Tour fully booked for this coming February and March 2010, her popularity is set to increase further.

It was in 2007 that the Sheffield-based singer bounced onto the music scene with her debut album Watching Me. International digital distribution giants CDBaby placed the album at the top of their recommended chart for the 'Contemporary Christian' genre. Not content with just making music, Philippa’s first book 'More' came out in 2008 telling the story behind her songs and her journey finding faith as a young adult. GP Taylor (New York Times Best Seller) believes Philippa to be “one of the most exciting authors of the moment”.

With over 200 performances made since the launch of Watching Me, regular international invitations and having topped the UK Christian Music Charts, it’s clear that Philippa is following in the footsteps of the of her bassist brother Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, Mark Ronson) by making her mark in the music industry. Philippa also supported Graham Kendrick and his “Dreaming of a Holy Night” Tour in 2008 and 2009 across the UK and abroad.

Philippa’s time is also invested in working with the charity Compassion and recently visited their project centres in Haiti, one of the world’s poorest countries.

Tickets for the event are priced at £7.50 for adults and £5.00 for Under 16s. Group Bookings are most welcome. Special deals are available for youth groups and church groups.
